Your wedding day is such a special day, and your hair and makeup should make you feel your most beautiful and confident. A bridal trial is the perfect opportunity to try out looks, discuss your vision for your big day, ensure you’re completely satisfied with your chosen look and it’s a great opportunity for us to get to know eachother.
Seeing a style on Pinterest, and then seeing it on yourself isn’t always how you imagined it to look. Trying out the look on you with your features is so important. If there are things you don’t particularly like on yourself or if you want to make changes we can then tweak/make changes to perfect your look on the day.
Around 6 to 8 weeks before your wedding date we will have your trial. I allocate up to 2 hours for Makeup Only or 3 hours for both Hair and Makeup.
During the trial we will look at your inspiration pictures (Pinterest, Instagram, my previous work are all great for this!) and discuss what aspects you like most from each of them, discuss your colour scheme etc for me to create a look perfect for you.
Makeup (and hair) can be overwhelming for some ladies and if you are a Bride to Be who also feels this way, or completely unsure what you want, please don’t panic! I will help you design your dream look.
Communication is key. Be sure to be open and honest so that we can make you look and feel incredible!
Collect hair and makeup inspiration pictures. Choose makeup/hair images that are on models with similar features, skin tone etc. For example if you have hooded eyes search for ‘wedding makeup for hooded eyes’. Here are some other ideas for your search: ‘Wedding makeup for fair skin’, ‘Bridal makeup for mature women’. What to Expect
Consultation: I will discuss with you your ideas and inspiration images, what you envision for yourself, your skin/hair type etc. We will continue to discuss throughout your trial to ensure I am using the appropriate products and techniques to bring your vision to life whilst ensuring the longest lasting finish.
Hair and Makeup/Makeup only Trial: You’ll try out your chosen hair/makeup style, with my help and advice to perfect it for the day.
Photos: I will take photos to refer to on your Wedding Day, for me to recreate and to be able to test what your look photographs like.
