Bridal Terms & Conditions – Beauty by Beverley Ann

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bridal hair and/or makeup services provided by Beauty by Beverley Ann. By paying a booking fee, booking a trial, or receiving services, you agree to the following terms.
1. BOOKINGS & DEPOSITS
1.1 A non-refundable booking fee of 20% of the confirmed wedding-day services (minimum £50) is required to secure your date. No dates are held without this payment.
1.2 The booking fee will be deducted from your final wedding-day balance.
1.3 Once the booking fee has been received, your date and agreed services are reserved exclusively for you.
2. TRIALS (BRIDAL PREVIEW APPOINTMENTS)
2.1 A bridal trial is strongly recommended for all bridal bookings to ensure your chosen look is fully planned and agreed prior to the wedding day.
2.2 Trial appointments are typically scheduled 6–8 weeks before the wedding, where availability allows. Earlier appointments may be arranged by agreement.
2.3 Trial availability, structure, and pricing will be confirmed as part of your personalised quotation.
2.4 Trial fees are payable separately from wedding-day services unless otherwise stated in writing.
2.5 Trial fees are non-refundable once the appointment has taken place.
2.6 If a client chooses to proceed without a trial, this must be discussed and agreed in writing. In such cases, additional consultation time may be required on the wedding day.
3. TRIAL APPOINTMENTS (PRACTICAL REQUIREMENTS)
3.1 Trials are provided on a mobile basis unless otherwise agreed.
3.2 Clients must provide a clean, well-lit space with access to electricity.
3.3 Booking a trial does not secure a wedding date; only payment of the booking fee confirms the date.
4. WEDDING DAY SERVICES
4.1 Services provided will reflect those confirmed in your quotation or booking confirmation.
4.2 Any additional services requested (including extra party members, changes to services, or additional styling) may incur additional charges and are subject to availability.
4.3 All bridal party members must be present and ready at their scheduled times.
4.4 A suitable working area with adequate lighting and space must be provided.
5. TRAVEL, PARKING & LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
5.1 Wedding-day and trial travel includes the first 40 miles round trip from DN2, based on the location provided at the time of booking. Additional mileage is charged at £0.50 per mile.
5.2 Any parking fees, tolls, or venue access charges must be covered by the client.
5.3 Early-morning start times may incur an additional fee, which will be confirmed in advance.
6. MINIMUM BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
6.1 Minimum booking requirements may apply depending on the wedding date and day of the week. These will be confirmed at the time of quotation.
6.2 Minimum booking requirements apply to wedding-day services only and do not include trial appointments unless stated otherwise.
7. PAYMENTS & FINAL BALANCE
7.1 Trial fees are payable in advance or on the day of the appointment, as agreed.
7.2 The remaining wedding-day balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the wedding date.
7.3 Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of services.
8. CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING & REFUNDS
8.1 Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
8.2 If the client cancels:
More than 14 days before the wedding:
The booking fee is retained. Any completed trial fees remain non-refundable.Within 14 days of the wedding:
The full remaining balance is due.
8.3 In the unlikely event that Beauty by Beverley Ann must cancel due to illness or emergency, all reasonable efforts will be made to arrange a suitable replacement. If this is not possible, all payments made will be refunded.
8.4 All cancellations must be made in writing.
9. HEALTH, SAFETY & ILLNESS
9.1 Clients must disclose any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to services.
9.2 Services may be refused if a contagious condition is present.
9.3 If you or any member of the booking party is unwell, experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness, or has tested positive for an infectious condition, please inform Beauty by Beverley Ann as soon as possible so alternative arrangements can be discussed.
9.4 Patch testing is available upon request.
10. PHOTOGRAPHY & SOCIAL MEDIA
10.1 Photographs may be taken and shared on social media or used for marketing purposes at a later date. If you do not wish for any photos to be shared, please inform me.
10.2 Clients who do not wish for images to be used must notify the artist in writing.
11. LIABILITY
11.1 Beauty by Beverley Ann is not liable for reactions caused by undisclosed conditions or client-supplied products.
11.2 Full public liability insurance is held.
12. AGREEMENT
By paying a booking fee, booking a trial, or receiving services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
